Training Pictorial

Some Photographs of Training Sessions to Indicate Our Dedication to the Sport of Judo and Our Intent to Foster Competitive Champions and  Responsible, Courteous Denizens of the Judo World Upholding Our Motto:

 Mens Sano, Incorpore Sano

The photograph to the top right (taken at the new facility at 100 Research Dr.) has the founder of the club, Shiina Sensei, in the forefront along with most of the coaching staff of the club.  Left to right are Coach Fred Candito (coaches the Thursday evening practise), Juan Vargas, Shiina Sensei (founder of the club), Kris Skowronski (Assistant Coach), Joey Wanag (1991 World Championships 2nd Place Silver Medalist in the 189 lbs. category and 1992 U.S. Olympic Team Member), Mike Royce (Newaza/Jujutsu Coach), Jon Candito (Assistant Coach and coaches the Saturday practise), and Chris Robinson (strength coach).

On the lighter side, toward the end of a Friday night practise, it appears that a philosophic discussion group (Jon, Gauthier, and Fed) has precipitated to review any of the evening's salient events of moment and pith.

On the left it appears that David is practising with Goliath (a.k.a. Lucas - a diligent teenager - and Garth - local businessman); on right is Paul and Timur doing uchikomi (fit-ins).

Our club member, Larry Wong, traveling to Tokyo.  Larry received an award for his performance at the Kodokan's Annual Winter Practise (Kangeiko).

This is the dojo of brotherly love as exemplified by the Brothers Duffy.
